Most tourists and expats in Bangkok never use the locel bus service. Ok I understand of course the traffic jam makes it sometimes impossible. But at nightime it's an amazing and cheap ride through all of Bangkok. Try it!

Thailand 2006 Before coup d'état

As most people today are aware of  is the situation in Bangkok for the moment (2008-11-26) very uptight. This is not a new fenomenon. Since as long as "democracy" in Thailand could see    it´s first light shine on it's population, korruption and disatifaction has plagued the country's population, military and politcal workforce. The question of when/how/who/what, will make a difference to this situation is today harder then ever to get a grip on.

Until then I'll post some old photos from the Anti Thaksin rally just weeks before the military seized power in 2006.

Loy Krathong Gävle, Sweden

Loy Krathong is held on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar. In the western calendar this usually falls in November. Here shown from a Small town in Sweden, Gävle. Gävle has numeros of Thai inhabitants, it's for me still a mystery why Gävle has so many, but well it's just great fun on these kind

Searching

Uppsalas new Cd-store

My old friend and colleague Opened a new Cd shop in a era of internet downloading and sharing. And they had the owner's own band "Rävjunk" played acoustic in the store the day of the opening.
