Ruff and windy

Save your photos.

Your photos may not always be burned out in the highlighted part of the frame even if you think so when you take a fast look at it. Of course this is a job for photoshop. In this example of one of my friends picture I been using different techniques as in Photoshop CS3 (works in CS and CS2): Shadow highlights in adjustments menu, gradient tool to fill a new layer and blend it with a bit of Overlay in the layer blending options. Then converting it into a black and white photo and using reduce noise filter to smoothen the the whole frame of the photo. Levels/adjustment to get the right contrast and last toning it with a adjustment layer/photo filter to get the blue toning.

Real me.

Hehe I guess it was real me then in panic I thought my bike had it´s last breath, about 4 years ago. I had almost crashed my dirtbike into a big wedding party and i got to a stop in the middle of nowhere between Phnom Pehn and Siem Reap, Cambodia. I was confused waiting on the side of the dirtroad for my other two friends who were already way ahead of me. The longest one day bike ride of my life, 11 hours later we made it to Siem Reap. Dirtbiking is something I can recommend all motorbike lovers to do. It can be a bit messy but well worth the hassle and dirt!

The working kid

Child workers play and work near a new road being constructed on the mountain slopes of the Himalayas. Sikkim is a semi Indian ruled state. It has it´s own government and flag but is still controlled mainly from New Delhi and has no real country borders. The hope of many Sikkemese people are to: one day become more like Nepal and fully rule their own country. Child labor are widely spread all over India and Sikkim is no exception. The poverty in the countryside of this region are many times extreme.

free wallpaper.

One of my favorite city´s and places in Thailand is a small day time hectic / night time quiet city in the way north on the border to Burma. Mae Sai an don the Burma side is Tachilek. This photo is taken around 6 pm on from the view point of Doi Wow, a holy mountain for the local population. I can now see why it´s holy. Feel free click and enlarge use as a wallpaper.
